Toogood Estate Winery was established in May 2001 on a 40-acre property in Somerset, California in the Sierra Foothills. The winery was purchased by the Mittelstaedt family in December 2019 and produces varietals including Zinfandel, Primitivo, Tempranillo, Pinot Noir, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Petite Sirah from 12 acres of vineyards.
A family-owned Sierra Foothills estate working with an unusually diverse array of varietals across 12 estate-grown acres, with a substantial Reserve program spanning everything from Zinfandel and Primitivo to lesser-known Italian and Spanish grapes like Charbono, Barbera, and Alicante Bouschet.
