Founded in 1977 by John and Josephine Ingle, Heron Hill Winery sits on the shores of Keuka Lake in Hammondsport, New York, in the heart of the Finger Lakes. The winery has earned a reputation for cool-climate Rieslings and a diverse portfolio of distinctive wines, crafted by winemakers Rick Porter, Kristen Lahey, and Nova Cadamatre.
A Finger Lakes pioneer since 1977, Heron Hill specializes in cool-climate Riesling across multiple sweetness levels alongside estate-grown reds including Cabernet Franc, Pinot Noir, and the distinctive Austrian variety Blaufrankisch, all hand-harvested from vineyards on the shores of Keuka Lake.
