Chateau Margene was established in 1997 by Michael and Margene Mooney in Paso Robles, where it continues to produce 2,500–3,000 cases annually from estate vineyards. The winemaking team—Michael, Jon, and Margene Mooney—tend Bordeaux and Italian varietals using organic and sustainable farming practices, crafting wines like Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, and Malbec.
