Terms of Service

By using Flite Notes (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you don't agree, please don't use the Service. These Terms form a legal agreement between you and Ravey Ventures LLC, a Washington State company ("we," "us," "our").

You must be 21 years of age or older to use Flite Notes. By creating an account you represent that you meet this requirement. We may terminate accounts found to be in violation of this requirement.

• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
• You must provide accurate information, including a valid email address.
• You may not create accounts on behalf of others without their consent.
• You may not use the Service for any unlawful purpose.

You agree not to:

• Upload images that are not wine tasting menus or tasting cards for the purpose of gaming the scan system.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract data from the Service.
• Use automated tools to interact with the Service.
• Impersonate any person or winery.
• Upload content that is illegal, harmful, or violates the rights of others.

Repeated scan violations (uploading non-menu images) will result in temporary or permanent suspension of scanning functionality.

You retain ownership of the tasting notes, ratings, and other content you create. By submitting content, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display it for the purpose of operating the Service. We use aggregated, anonymized versions of this data to generate insights for winery partners — your individual data is never shared in identifiable form.

Menu information, wine details, and winery data displayed in the app are sourced from user scans and publicly available information. We do not guarantee accuracy. Prices, availability, and wine lists change — always verify with the winery directly before making purchasing decisions.

Flite Notes is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated menu parsing will be accurate. Use your own judgment when relying on any information in the app.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ravey Ventures LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, lost profits, or purchasing decisions made based on information in the app. Our total liability to you for any claim will not exceed $100 USD.

You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at flitenotes@outlook.com. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or an in-app notice at least 7 days before taking effect. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Washington State.
