Flite Notes is operated by Ravey Ventures LLC, a Washington State company. When this policy says "we," "us," or "our," it means Ravey Ventures LLC. Questions? Email us at flitenotes@outlook.com.

We collect only what's needed to run the service:

• Account info: your email address, display name, birth year (optional), and zip code (optional).
• Tasting data: wines you tasted, ratings, notes, favorites, and purchase intent you enter during a session.
• Location data: GPS coordinates used to detect nearby wineries, only when you grant permission. We do not track your location continuously.
• Menu images: photos of tasting cards you upload for AI parsing. These are stored on a secure cloud image service.
• Usage data: basic analytics (pages visited, feature usage) to understand how the app is used. No personally identifiable information is included in analytics.
• Device info: standard web request data (browser type, IP address) retained in server logs for security purposes.

• To operate and improve Flite Notes.
• To generate aggregate, anonymized insights for winery partners (e.g. "guests who visited your tasting room also rated Syrah highly"). Individual taster data is never shared with wineries in identifiable form.
• To send you account-related emails (sign-in links, important notices). We do not send marketing email without your explicit opt-in.
• To detect and prevent abuse of the scan feature.

• We do not sell your personal data. Ever.
• We do not share your identifiable data with wineries, advertisers, or data brokers.
• We do not use your tasting notes or purchase history to serve ads.
• We do not use session replay tools or keystroke logging.

Your data is stored in a secure, managed database with encryption at rest and in transit. Menu images are stored on a secure cloud image service. We use industry-standard practices to protect your information, though no system is perfectly secure.

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate data via your profile settings.
• Delete your account and all associated data. Email us at flitenotes@outlook.com and we will process your request within 30 days.
• Opt out of analytics by disabling cookies in your browser.

California residents have additional rights under CCPA, including the right to know what data is collected and the right to non-discrimination for exercising privacy rights.

We use browser local storage to keep you signed in and remember your preferences (theme, onboarding state). We may use first-party analytics cookies. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

Flite Notes is intended for adults 21 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 21. If you believe a minor has created an account, contact us at flitenotes@outlook.com.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or an in-app notice. Continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
