Shafer Vineyard Cellars / Risdall Ranch
Shafer Vineyard Cellars has deep roots in Napa, with grape growing and winemaking on its property stretching back to 1880. Founded in 1972 by Chicago publishing executive John Shafer, the winery began full-scale production in 1978 and today crafts Sauvignon Blanc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Syrah, Petite Sirah, and Merlot under winemaker Elias Fernandez. Members can join the Hillside Select Club to explore wines from their Red Shoulder Ranch vineyard.
