Founded in 2006, Rock of Ages Winery & Vineyard sits on the Moore family estate in Person County, North Carolina, where winemaking history runs deep—Ernest Moore produced communion wine here in the early 1900s. Kevin and Kimberly Moore transformed their family land into a vineyard, planting the first acres in 2003 and opening the winery in October 2006. Today they craft a diverse range of wines including Muscadine, Chardonnay, Petit Verdot, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz, and Pinot Noir, with selections in their Grand Reserve and Barrel Select programs.
