Founded in 1980, Oakencroft Farm & Winery was one of the first commercial wineries in Albemarle County and the Monticello region. Under the stewardship of owner Dorothy Batten and winemaker Jessica Trapeni, the winery practices sustainable and regenerative farming focused on soil health, biodiversity restoration, and land stewardship.
