Founded in 2003, Muse Vineyards began when owners Robert Muse and Sally Cowal revived an overgrown vineyard in Virginia's Shenandoah Valley, expanding it to approximately thirty acres. Under winemaker Joshua Riesner, the winery crafts an impressive range of wines—from crisp whites like Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay to elegant reds including Cabernet Franc and Nebbiolo. Their award-winning 2009 Clio earned the 2015 Virginia Governor's Cup, a testament to their dedication to quality winemaking.
A Shenandoah Valley estate winery founded in 2003, working with an eclectic range of varietals from classic Cabernet Franc and Chardonnay to Italian varieties like Nebbiolo and Sangiovese. Their 2009 Clio won the Virginia Governor's Cup, and they practice minimalist viticulture with hand-harvested fruit and traditional Burgundian barrel fermentation for whites.
