Founded in 2003 by Franco Marchesi in Hood River's Columbia Gorge, Marchesi Vineyards transforms a former apple orchard into a celebration of Northern Italian winemaking. Franco plants varieties native to his Piemonte birthplace, drawn to the gorge's shared latitude and climate, blending Old World tradition with Pacific Northwest terroir across Pinot Noir, Nebbiolo, Barbera, and more.
