HillCrest Vineyard & Winery
Founded in 1961 by Richard Sommer, HillCrest Vineyard planted Oregon's first post-prohibition Vitis vinifera vines and helped establish the state's wine industry. The DeMara family has owned and stewarded the winery since 2003, with the third generation—Dyson, Susan, Hanna, and Tucker DeMara—now crafting wines together in Roseburg.
