Founded in 1888 by Gustav Heineman, an immigrant from Baden, Germany, this Put-In-Bay winery sits on the Lake Erie Islands and has deep roots in the region's wine heritage. Dustin Heineman now runs the operation, crafting wines from native grapes like Concord and Catawba grown on approximately 20 acres, alongside an impressive range of varietals from Pinot Noir to Riesling. A piece of Ohio wine history with genuine character.
