Hawkes Winery in Healdsburg has deep roots in Alexander Valley—Stephen and Paula Hawkes began farming grapes here in 1971, before establishing the winery in 2002. Today, winemaker Herman Froeb crafts Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Merlot, and Pinot Noir exclusively from the family's three estate vineyards, with standout Single Vineyard Cabernets that showcase the terroir of Stone, Red Winery, and Pyramid vineyards.
