Gideon Owen Wine Company
Founded in 2020 by Quintin and Donna Smith, Gideon Owen Wine Company reopened on Catawba Island with a mission to revive on-site wine production after more than four decades of off-site operations. Beginning in 2022, the winery has been crafting wines from Lake Erie AVA-grown grapes, bringing winemaking back to its historic roots in Port Clinton, Ohio.
