Sta. Rita Hills
Kessler-Haak Wines is a 30-acre family-owned vineyard in California's Sta. Rita Hills AVA, founded in 2005 and planted that same year. Owner Ellen Haak-Kessler and winemaker Dan Kessler craft Pinot Noir and Chardonnay using organic farming practices and minimalist winemaking techniques, drawing fruit from both their own vineyard and designates including Clos Pepe, Sanford, and Lafond. They also produce Syrah, Gamay Noir, and Riesling.
