Desert Wind Winery, founded in 2003 and now owned by the Lawrence family, crafts structured, full-bodied reds from Washington's Wahluke Slope and Yakima Valley. Under winemaker Matías Kúsulas, the Prosser winery has earned consistent 85–90 point scores and recognition as a Wahluke Slope AVA pioneer, while their fruit-forward Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah, and whites showcase the region's distinctive character.
