Brown Estate

Brown Estate is a boutique winery in Napa that began when the owners' parents purchased an abandoned ranch in 1980 and started growing grapes—the winery was officially established in 1996. As the first Black-owned winery to commercially bottle and sell wine in Napa Valley, Brown Estate crafts a diverse range of wines from their own vineyards, including Pinot Noir, Zinfandel, Cabernet Sauvignon, and distinctive blends like Chaos Theory Red. Their Zinfandels have earned Wine Spectator coverage and consistent 90+ point scores across major publications, while the winery has received James Beard Foundation recognition.
