Founded in 1876 by brothers Jacob and Frederick Beringer, this St. Helena landmark is California's oldest continually operating winery. Beringer pioneered gravity-fed fermentation, hand-dug caves, and public winery tours—setting standards that defined Napa Valley winemaking.
