Banner Elk Winery & Villa
Founded in 2005, Banner Elk Winery & Villa is North Carolina's original winery in the High Country and the first commercial winery in Avery and Watauga counties. The winery crafts wines from locally grown grapes, including Seyval Blanc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Sangiovese, Marechal Foch, and Blueberry, and has earned multiple award medals at regional and international competitions.
