Founded in 1956 by Charles and Helen Bacigalupi on Westside Road near Healdsburg, this boutique Russian River Valley winery has been stewarded through four generations of family ownership. Bacigalupi is known for site-driven Chardonnay produced with minimal intervention and sustainable practices, earning consistent recognition from Wine Spectator and Wine Enthusiast—and their estate fruit played a pivotal role in Chateau Montelena's legendary 1973 Chardonnay that won the 1976 Judgment of Paris.
