Spring Mountain District
Founded in 1980 on Spring Mountain, Cain Vineyard & Winery has been crafting Cabernet Sauvignon-based blends from its estate vineyard since first crush in 1982. Under winemaker Chris Howell's direction, the winery is known for its Cain Five—an elegant blend of five classical Bordeaux varieties grown on the steep mountain slopes surrounding St. Helena.
