Napa Valley
Freemark Abbey has been crafting distinguished wines since 1886, when it was founded by Josephine Tychson, one of California's pioneering female vintners. Now owned by the Jackson family, this mid-sized Napa Valley winery is celebrated for its classically structured Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay, and was among just 11 American wineries selected for the landmark 1976 Judgment of Paris tasting. Under winemaker Kristy Melton's direction, Freemark Abbey continues to earn consistent 90+ point scores while drawing fruit from its own Colline and Sycamore vineyards.
